This is a very nice, loosely bound booklet that my mom,Alice Smith Rodvold, had saved - it was originally her father's (Elmer J Smith) - his signature is faintly visible in the upper right hand part of the cover. It's gossipy, newsy and fun, almost like its the social media (Facebook) of it's time. There are many family names that will be familiar to us descendants of early Fortuna - our parents, their parents, relatives, friends and neighbors.
